Argentina has everything to become a really memorable, exciting destination. It has so much to offer: diverse landscapes, natural wonders, hospitable people, delicious wines and tempting cuisine, a rich culture and distinctive handcrafted products.
Buenos Aires has the "charm" of tango. It is a fascinating city rich in contrasts. A cosmopolitan capital with European atmosphere, a cultural reference in South America.
There is so much more than tango in Argentina and our concierges can't wait to show you the beauty of Argentina!
Buenos Aires was for years referred to as the "Paris of the South" or "Paris of South America." The city is divided into 48 neighborhoods ("barrios"). The best-known barrios include La Boca and San Telmo, Recoleta, Palermo, and Puerto Madero. It is a great city to walk around and explore. each barrio is a treasure of culture, music and traditions.
There is so much to do, see and taste that you will never feel bored. The El Caminito area in La Boca is a must see. It has many tango venues, a very modern museum (PROA) and the iconic Bombonera stadium.
Our concierges can't wait to personalize an Argentina travel experience that will tickle all your senses!
Named 500 years ago by Ferdinand Magellan, Patagonia is a wildly romanticized region that marks the beginning of land's end in South America. Patagonia is a remote land of legends and adventure. It is also huge; Patagonia is larger than the state of Texas. It actually covers five provinces in Argentina: Rio Negro, Neuquén, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego. It stretches over an area of 757,000 square kilometers (about 293,000 square miles), one third of the total area of Argentina.
You will be mesmerized by Patagonia's wilderness; the semi-arid plateaus of the east; the striking Andean mountain range in the west; and the verdant forests, royal blue lakes and snow capped peaks in the Lake District.
Cuyo is Argentina's wine region. Very diverse and dramatic with vineyards set against idyllic backdrops. Visits to the various wineries are constantly increasing and the wine shops and bars are already part of the urban landscape. Almost all of the wineries worth visiting are located between the city of Mendoza and the Mendoza River. There are some very near the city, and also in the villages of Maipú, Luján de Cuyo (the majority), Tupungato and Tunuyán, some in San Carlos, and finally and very far south, the ones in San Rafael.
Apart from this enological tourism, Mendoza offers spas (wine therapy spas in particular) and adventure tourism: skiing, rafting in Uspallata, kayaking in Mendoza River, mountain horseback riding, rappell, mountaineering, 4x4 outings and much more.
Favorite destinations with groups are the city of Buenos Aires, the Iguazú Waterfalls, Patagonia's natural Lake District and the southernmost city in the world, beautiful Usuahia. But don't limit yourself to just these locations because Argentina has so much to offer.
Our concierges can't wait to help your group find every experience worth living in Argentina!
